We're happy you found us!
And we're even happier we found each other. Bask in our love during our wedding weekend. If you already know you're coming, please RSVP below.
What to expect
Friday, June 13th - Sunday, June 15th, 2025
Why did we ask you to save the weekend? We are so excited to bring together all of our friends and family to celebrate the occasion and we wanted to make sure we have enough time to spend with all our loved ones. We imagined a full weekend event in a place where all our guests can stay onsite, outside in nature, eat meals together, sleep, and be joyous.
The venue
We have found the perfect venue for the wedding we imagine, Berkeley Tuolumne Camp in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada just a few miles from the gates of Yosemite. The camp is owned and run by the City of Berkeley and hosts Family Camp for much of the summer. This venue is well equipped to provide food and lodging for all our guests. We are asking guests to cover some of the cost of their accommodations for the weekend at a subsidized rate. All wedding activities will take place on the property and we hope you will choose to stay with us at camp!
We can't wait for you to see it!
Meals
All meals, starting with a welcome dinner on Friday night and ending with a farewell breakfast on Sunday morning, will be served in the dining hall. There will be 5 meals provided in total. Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions when you RSVP. Alcohol is allowed but will not be served by camp staff so BYOB for Friday night! Saturday drinks are on us (:
Sleeping arrangements
At Berkeley Tuolumne Camp, guests stay in charming tent cabins nestled along the hillside. The tent cabins have wood half-walls and frames and a canvas top as well as an attached wood platform for lounging and enjoying the view. Each cabin is equipped with camp style cots and mattresses that can be pushed together to make a larger bed. We will do our best to ensure parties of 2 or more get their own cabin. Guests will need to bring their own bedding (pillow, sleeping bag, or sheets and blankets). Most cabins do not have power so remember to bring a headlight or battery pack. If you have any concerns about sleeping arrangements, don't hesitate to reach out to us!
Showers and bathrooms
There are a number of bath houses around camp with flush toilets, private showers and hot water. There are also family restrooms with bathtubs and changing tables for those with little ones. Bring your own toiletries, towel, and soap (biodegradable recommended)!
Costs
Saturday's reception dinner and drinks are on us. For the rest of the weekend, we are asking guests to cover some of their food and lodging. The cost is $200 per adult and $150 for kids 2+ (infants free). If cost is an issue, pay what you can. We want you here! We hope all of you will choose to stay at the venue we have chosen where we can all eat, sleep and party together!
Alternative accommodations
We really think staying with us at Berkeley Tuolumne Camp will be a great experience for everyone and strongly encourage it! All the facilities are brand new, highly accessible and comfortable, and you will feel like you're more a part of the entire weekend festivities. However, if you feel strongly that you will not be comfortable at camp there are other hotels nearby. We recommend Rush Creek Lodge which is located 15 minutes down the road. Whether or not you sleep at Berkeley Tuolumne Camp, we are still responsible for the full per person cost and we appreciate anything you are able to contribute for food and use of the property for the weekend.
Getting there
We know it's a bit out there, but it will be worth it!
Our venue is a 3 hour drive from our home in Oakland, CA.
For folks flying in, OAK in Oakland, SJC in San Jose, SMF in Sacramento are each a 3 hour drive away. Driving from SFO in San Francisco is about 45 minutes more. If you're interested in connecting with other people about ride share options, there is a section in the RSVP to let us know.

We know there are many types of talent out there so don't hold back!
